Hello! I’m Imy :)

Earlier this year, I graduated from studying French at the University of London’s Institute in Paris. I moved to France in 2023 to jump straight into something new after completing a Foundation year in Fine Art and Design at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Living in Paris, my main creative outlet was my sketchbook - over the 3 years, I filled a whole shelf with snippets of my time there. I also started illustrating in an attempt to embrace a more fun, child-like and colourful style. Outfits, the places I visited, passers by, dogs, food all became my inspo.

Then I began selling stuff! Partly in need of money, partly to practice my French (my speaking exam was looming and I wasn’t at all ready), I set up a table round the corner from my apartment and sketched passers-by for a couple euros a pop. My street stall grew into my Instagram, then into my website, and now here we are! Read more about my street stall here.

I’m now back in the UK, based between the Peak District and the North East.
